Hello all, welcome to the brand new Roleplaying section of The Doctor In The TARDIS. It is important that you read through these rules before participating within this section.

1. If you would like to create a secondary account in order to join in then this is allowed. HOWEVER, any secondary account that is created must be OK'd by and registered with the moderating team so that we can keep track of members (this is in conjunction with the multiple users rule). We understand though that some people wish to keep their RP accounts a secret from other players and so none of these will be divulged to any member beyond the moderating team.

2. If you do create another account for RP, that account is to be used solely within the specified area. Any posting in threads and sections outside of the one created for RP must be done in your primary account name. Alternatively, if you want to just use the account you already have but wish to change your username to suit posting in all areas of the board, then send a PM to me requesting this, with the name you wish to use included in the body of the email.

3. There are three seperate sections so far. One for Doctor Who, one for Torchwood and one for general RP. Other sections can be created upon request but scenarios must be kept within their relevent sections. Though we understand crossovers can occur (perhaps a DW character turning up in a TW scenario, for example), overall scenarios should be kept in the sections they belong to. This keeps things neat and helps the moderating team to moderate efficiently.

4. The overall rules of the forum are to be adhered to at all times within this section. The posts of any given scenario will be closely monitored to ensure that users are not using RP as a way of being abusive or derogatory towards other members. This will not affect the overall way that you play and consideration will be taken for things that are said between members within the parameters of a given scenario, but anything deemed to be too offensive or abusive will be removed.

5. The core moderating team, although still in attendance throughout this section, will be handing over the main moderating duties to two new additions to the team whose sole responsibility will be to look after this section of the forum. This is to ensure that full enjoyment can be taken from RP'ing here while being looked after by people with more expertise in this area than the current moderating team has. One of these has already been chosen and we will be on the lookout for another shortly. The moderators for this section can be identified by being highlighted in green at the bottom of the main forum page.

For the time being, feel free to get started and help this new section grow. A new thread will be pinned to the top of the Doctor Who section in which you can all post to introduce your characters. This will help identify users and let people know which characters are already in use. If you need any help or advice then feel free to contact any of the moderating team or check out PopRockGeeks rules section at the top of the main page.
