I love the times in German lessons when half the time is spent explaing tenses and like nouns/adverbs/adjectives/verbs! And also flipping dative, accusative and nomalitive....  :o

To get to the Newcastle uni open day I’d have to leave home at about 4am to get a train at 4:10am to get to Vauxhall and change to the underground arriving at London King’s Cross at 5:40am to catch a train there at 6:20am which then gets to Newcastle at 9:40am… Then I’d have to walk to the uni flipping heck!! :O... It's going to be one heck of a long day!  :o

That there are apparently trains that leave at 4am :P

I really do work better after midnight! - I solved my uni work plot crisis at half 12 :)

That using 'I'm not eating chocolate anymore' as a technique to stop my grandparents buying me mass quantities of it backfires spectacularly when they take me out for a meal & I want a chocolate dessert - if I'd had one they'd not only know I was lying but they'd start buying it again. Had to have apple pie instead (though it was very nice it wasn't what I wanted)  :-\

Generally I would say it is but at Christmas the bulk of what they buy me is chocolate & I'd much rather have more practical things. I tried asking them to buy me less but it didn't work that's why I told them I'm not eating it at all. Chocolate doesn't last & can be expensive - I'd rather buy it myself as and when I fancied it.
