I thought the storyline was pretty strong - loved the way they used Cassandra 8)The comedic value in this episode nicely balanced the actual atrocity that was going on behind the squeeky clean surface/scenes. Rotten episode from a mostly rotten (sadly) series. I can't bring myself to rewatch this one, I always skip to the next episode (more in that thread....) Title: Re: Poll: New Earth Post by: Nyki on July 15, 2011, 05:26:18 pm Having just rewatched this one, I think the main problem with it was it was trying to deal with too many plots without tying them together well enough. I liked the idea of the Sisters and their experiments, but Cassandra's never been one of my favourite characters, and I really didn't buy her sudden conversion at the end. And the Face of Boe was just a big red herring. I gave it a 3.

There's nothing hugely substantial or even particularly memorable about this one, but it's one that I always end up really enjoying every time I rewatch it. Not a classic, but fun.
