I dont see how having an Asian companion would benefit the show or stories more than a companion of any other race. If an actress who is best for the role happens to be Asian, then lets have an Asian companion, but thats how people should always be chosen for roles. Race shouldnt come into it. Thats my opinion anyways

If they are a great actor or actress then fine, but no point having one just to seem PC or whatever
