Title: The Doctor In The TARDIS Awards 2011 Post by: The Doc on May 24, 2011, 03:01:37 pm (http://i53.tinypic.com/ngu33n.jpg) The awards have been expanded this year and now cover fifteen seperate catagories. As with the first awards last year, the catagories for Best Doctor, Best Companion and Best Story have been split into Classic and New to make voting as fair as possible because while everyone has seen the show since it returned in 2005, not everyone is as familiar with the classic series and it deserves to get equal representation. The awards for Best Villian has been modified slightly to cover a wider range and now sits alongside Best Alien/Monster Species. This will mean that individual baddies will be recognised apart from their race, for example. Restac could be nominated seperately from The Silurians. Other new catagories include Best Guest/One Off Character, Best Writer and Best Director. Again, Best Audio and Best Book cover the Whoniverse as a whole, including the spinoffs. As with last year, it is not compulsory to vote in every catagory. You can vote for as little as one or as many as fifteen when you submit your nominations, but votes will only count once so think carefully about your choices. To submit your nominations, copy and paste the catagories below along with your answers into a private message to either Myself or PopRockGeek to be counted. We want everyone on the forum to get involved to make sure that your favourites win, so whether you post here every day or have never joined in before, start voting today. If there is a story or character or whatever from series 6 that you would like to include then you can do so. The awards are upto and including A Good Man Goes To War, so you might want to wait until that has aired for things like Best Story :)
