Yea it's Irish. You pronounce it like 'Keevah'. Most people not familiar with Irish names have trouble with it, but it's an Irish bank so they should have come accross it before.

I've not really been having the best few weeks. I've had a lot of rejection from both people and universities, so it's kind of been hard to smile.
But today, my sister (who's 12) went out with her friends and, with her own money, brought me a panda toy. I really love pandas and when she gave it to me, it put a big smile on my face

I know how you feel, regarding university rejections :( It's tough! And having gone through it all before, not a nice experience to repeat.

It's really not :( I applied last year and got into all 5, but I originally deferred my entries. Buuut my family went through so much hell last year so I canceled them all and decided to go through Clearing and try to get somewhere close so I could commute and save money - avoiding the crazy fee rise. That failed completely - so I had to retake a year and apply this year.
I got rejected from my back up - and I already had the grades to get in there! alfjshjdskhgkgdsk I suck at interviews.

Out of interest, what are you hoping to study?

I applied for Medicine 3 years ago, didn't get in so I'm not in the third and final year of studying Biological Sciences. I've applied for postgraduate Medicine now, and have had two rejections in the past two weeks. Still waiting to hear from the other two, fingers crossed!

The rugby! It's also made me shout, sweat and bite my nails. Now it's making me get drunk. Brilliant win for Wales.

 Oooooh! Best of luck! I hope it all works out! I want to be a primary school teacher :)

And aaah! I watched the rugby for the first time ever today. I didn't understand it but I couldn't stop laughing! To me, it was just men jumping all over each other :')))

Both games were great but being Welsh, it was the W/E game that was most important. That last 2 minutes was so tense I nearly had a heart attack.

Even though I'm English, I rooted for Wales because I love Wales! The accent! aslkfskjdjghgkjhdfg *flop*

I can't say I notice the accent. I hear it every day. I'm keeping everything crossed for a Grand Slam now.

Oh man the accent is beautiful! I love it so much!

*Blink* I have no idea what Grand Slam is. I just liked watching the men jumping all over each other.

Grand Slam is when one team beats every other in their games. You don't need a Grand Slam to win, but its the cherry on the cake.

Uhh I'll have to say watching TV because the show was funny :') Today has been boring

It's really nothing to fear. The pain is minimal, and the good feeling you get from donating is totally worth it. Plus it's a great way to find out your blood type :)

There's a real taboo around needles, but there are far more painful things that I can think of.

Finally upgrading my phone after being stuck with the same one for 2 years. I should have it within 7 days. Yay :)

The weather. Its lovely out and it's put me in a great mood

Same here. I took the baby out and we walked for miles. Well, I did. He just sat in his buggie. It was nice that it seemed to have really warmed up, too. Put a right spring in my step. I bet it will pour down tomorrow ;D

I saw a huge comet on the way home from work. I happened to look up and I saw it. It started off sort of blueish and then as it got closer it turned orange. It looked like a fireball and it had a tail behind it. It was moving really fast and at first I thought it might have been a plane on fire but as it went overhead it was obviously not. It looked amazing though. Sort of like a huge orange shooting star.

Everyone was taking about that in the pub earlier. Couldn't see it from down here in Brighton but apparantly it went from Wales to the Highlands in 4 minutes and loads of people saw it and it got relayed around the pub via facebook and twitter.

Having an awesome rant with mum about my school... From September they're making all the sixth form wear suits... Thankfully I won't be there! :) And also made me smile when my mum told my biology teacher that I'd scribbled out words on the letter they sent home telling mum and dad that I'm "severely underachieving" he said it was very much unlike me to do something like that! Made me laugh sooooo hard!

One of my biology teachers getting a fish tank for the science department... He said I can help look after the fish :D :D :D :D

Awesome weather, getting paid and having a day off all in the same day.

Handed in my final essay (at this University anyway!) so I spent the whole time, lying in the park enjoying the sun! We then went to the pub (which is an actual boat :o ) and had a nice meal.
