Title: DVD Bonus Features
Post by: Saber on July 25, 2011, 03:18:07 pm
There are some great features on this release, but the commentary for it is one of my favourite for any release so far. Baker, Dicks, Hinchcliffe, Sladen and Madoc all sitting around having a chat about the story and acting is a total pleasure to listen to, so if you have the opportunity and you havent already, I strongly advise you to have a listen because it's awesome.

You guys always talk about the bonus stuff on the ones I don't have!!! It's really hard to find the bonus features online too. I loved this story though so would have no reservations about picking it up on DVD

I'm in the same boat as TC with the extras for this one, but I am intrigued about the commentary now. There's been a lot of talk of commentaries around here lately so I want to listen to some now

Its not just the commentaries though. There are loads of other good ones on this release. Its been a while since I watched, but one of the extras has discussions about the writing process for this story which is really interesting given the circumstances surrounding it

I know the one you mean. TD is quite humourous about having his script hijacked ;D

He does seem to take it in good humour, but I think there is still that little twinge of bitterness there. Maybe it's just me, but that's how it seems to come off. I suppose you would be though

The thing is, he considered the rewrites to his script to be terrible at the time (apparantly) and so probably didn't expect the story to go down as well as it has amongst fandom. I think he is probably over it by now though
