The Doctor In The TARDIS

The galleries are now open for you to add your Doctor Who pictures. You can find them by clicking the 'Gallery' tab at the top of each page. I have added five in there to get started. They cover

The Tenth Doctor
The Eleventh Doctor
The Classic Series
Amy Pond
The Master

You can all add images to any gallery, leave comments on them and rate the pictures. At the moment access to opening new galleries is restricted (not sure how to ammend that yet) so if you want to add a new gallery for any character, series or enemy etc, then say so in here and it will get made ready for your uploads.

Each gallery is so far empty. They only have title images on them, so make sure you add your favourites in there and as I said, if you want to open a new one for your favourite whatever, then just say so in here.

Can we have one for the Fifth Doctor or Peri? Or do we have to put them in the classic series group?

I have spent the last 2 hours making adjustments to the Galleries to make them more structured and easier to use. They are no fully open and ready to use. I got rid of some, and added a load more, plus loads of subsections.

Doctors 9, 10 and 11 all have a section of their very own, as does the Master for his various incarnations.

There is a classic section, with subsections on classic serials, Doctors and Companions.

A NuWho section with subsections covering each of the 5 full series and another which covers all the different specials.

There is a NuWho companions section, with subsections for Amy, Rory, River, Donna, Martha, Mickey and Rose.

Torchwood has its own section, with subcatagories for Jack, Gwen, Ianto, Tosh and Owen, and another for general series stuff.

Sarah Jane also has its own section, but I havent split that into sections as I figured the demand would be a lot smaller.

It will have direct links with this section of the forum, but there is no Pos/Neg divide. All photos can be commented on and rated however you like. If any (thought I doubt there will be) are NSFW, then there is an adult filter for when you upload that you can click to warn people.

The galleries are starting to fill up. Be sure to keep checking in there and commenting and rating pictures :)

Remember to keep putting all your favourite character photo's in the new galleries. Matt Smith's section is starting to fill up nicely, but we still want more in all the others. There is a link at the top of this page, or click 'Gallery' on the tabs at the top :D

Ive checked and according to the data there is loads of space left, so I will fire off an email and see if there is an issue and let you know :)

Im working on it. Ive emailed and have had a cagey reply. Think they are trying to get me to pay to use the rest of the space, despite it being available anyways. Ill let you know when I do :)

Right, just a little update. They are asking for £35 a month for extra gallery space, which I wont be paying. I am trying to get around it by using the fact that they offered X amount of space, which we havent used up. Will have to see where that gets me :)

Right, the people who run this place arent budging, so for those of you who like to upload pictures, how about this...

I could create a sub catagory to the Character Appreciation forum dedicated solely to pictures. Each character could have their own thread, then you can go in there and post and comment as much as you like without any restrictions. You can also then create your own threads for whatever character without having to be restricted to banding them all together under one catagory. So instead of having 'SJA' for example, you could just create a thread for each character, like Clyde or Rani or whatever. Would that be ok?

I think for now thats the best we will get it, im afraid :-\

I have created the new gallery. It is headed with the name 'child board' but it isnt for children. I am looking to change that as soon as possible. Until then, start some threads and I will see about transfering the existing pictures over from the Gallery :)

I absolutely hated the look of the sub catagory so I have given this place a little corner of its own. I also couldnt change the name of the 'child board' which looked horrible, so this is the new home of the galleries :)

I shall be filling this forum full of pictures of 5 and Peri as soon as my computer is back to full working order! Just pre-warning you all :)
