It had to be River. At least this goes to show all the haters that she is actually a popular character. I think she is awesome and I am glad she won

I've no problem with River (yet, depends where the arc goes lol) BUT, there is no way she should be above The Brig.
That's just my opinion though, the Nu Who vote took it in the end.
Don't agree on Amelia being there either. Sure, great & loveable kid actress, but it's the same character after all.

I liked Wilf too, but again, there are so many good ones to choose from, picking a top 3 is tough.  I voted for River though, one of my favorite TV characters ever!

All worthy winners. I could think of a few others deserving of a place on the list too. It's nice to see characters from both eras of the show getting a look in. I thought it might be a bit more one sided so it's good to see.
