Hey, Doc. They are the worst. I'm just winding down after work, but I can't wait for my bed tonight. We were a few nurses down so I was run off my feet all day! I don't think I will be having any trouble sleeping.

Sounds hectic. I was playing rugby, so not quite as tiring as long shifts at a hospital. I'll try again shortly and hopefully fall asleep. Just glad I'm not working in the morning. Nice to come in and see some activity through the night though. It's usually a quiet time.

Hey everyone. I can't believe how active the forum was last night. I couldn't sleep and I figured the forum would be quiet so I went out for a late night drive around town. I took a wrong turning, which saw me sat outside Amy and Rory's house in Butetown and then randomly decided to go on a location hunt and ended up going to loads of places from the show. I didn't get in until past 3

I didn't, but seeing as I never went more than about 15 minutes drive in any direction from my apartment, getting them at another time would be easy :)

Oh that's cool then. If I lived in Cardiff I think I'd spend half my life getting my photo taken with EVERYTHING! ;D

They were called Jack Sparrows and were far too expensive and tasted non alcoholic, so we drunk way more than we should have. Feeling it today :(

I've had people here all night. I've been here about 2 years now I think. I was such a spaz when I started. I didn't know anything. I think I'd seen 1, or maybe 2 episodes and didn't even know what a Dalek was ;D I watched Matt Smith's first episode and got so hooked. Now I'm obsessed. I've seen over half of the classics now and all of the new series. This place has got me hooked on audios and books too. It's a great bunch here. Everyone will be nice and welcome you :)

That's a really pretty name :) I won't try spelling it though. TC is fine ;D

I found the Facebook page and followed it for a while and then I clicked a link to vote in the awards which brought me here. I had a little look about but got a bit shy about signing up so I sent my votes through FB instead. When I did I asked about the forum and spoke to PopRockGeek and she convinced me to sign up and say hi, and here I am :)

Ah, right. PRG is a cool bean. Everyone here is. It does get quiet here, but unlike a lot of places it's not filled with endless posts about the same thing or pages and pages of arguments because of disagreements. That's why I like it here. I've had horrible experiences elsewhere, but this place is really inclusive. It would be cool if there was more people on at any one time because sometimes you end up talking to yourself, but it's always fun to read the news and join in with the games and stuff.

Yeah, I've seen some of the polls and games. I was a bit nervous to join in because I am the new girl, but I've made a couple of posts and joined in with some discussions. This is the first time I've managed to chat with anyone at length though.

Don't worry about being new. We all start somewhere. I don't really get shy, but I was nervous when I started out because everyone knew the finest details of the show and I knew nothing. I thought I'd be laughed out of the threads, but any time I didn't know something I just said and there was always someone who had the answers. I read loads of the threads and joined in everywhere and then I started watching the classic episodes and the new ones and now I can hold my own. I still get a bit lost with a few things, but I just act cool and hope nobody notices :P

Haha yeah, I guess that's the best way. I'm pretty clued up, but I'm sure I could learn a lot. There seems to be a good mix of ages here and some people who have watched the show from the early days, so I'm sure I will learn loads of new things once I start talking to people a bit more.

Yeah, exactly. Some areas are busier than others and there is plenty to join in on to get to know everyone. The spoiler section has plenty to talk about (when spoilers are coming in) and this section has loads of game threads. There are re-watches as well, where everyone piles in a thread for an hour, watch an episode in sync and then chat about it. Well, that's the point, but mostly we go off on wild tangents and talk about random stuff, but it is a great way of bedding in and meeting people. There is also The Infinite Quest, where there is a 'story of the week' theme and a story is chosen at random for everyone to watch and discuss, but that's not at a set time. Just watch when you're free.

I saw that one when I was on the other day. I was thinking of maybe joining in.

YAY :) Thanks :) I finished my first year in zoology with a first so transferring straight onto 2nd year Marine Zoology so have quite a lot of catching up to do which is kind of fun... apart from Oceanography which I've had to give up on :P There's a reason I dropped physics after AS :o :P I'm so excited to get started on it :D It's taken a lot of work to get myself transferred and the problems aren't over yet as the uni have messed up my modules but it should all get sorted :)

Sorry that's a long waffle :P Other than that nothing much new... apart from seeing dolphins in the wild this weekend which made me very very excited :D So I'm now qualified in cetacean (whale and dolphin) surveying  :D :D :D

New with me? Not much, apart from am in final year of uni  :o So lots of exam stuff and a super cool research project I'm doing playing with starfish and sea urchins! :D

I have no idea where everyone is. It's been really quiet on here the last 18 months or so. People did pop back on after the episodes and stuff, and me, PRG and Nyki are still lurking around.

On the forum? Not much tbh, we've just kept it going (well mainly Emma, because I don't know how to set up new boards :P ) so all the old stuff if still there!
