Title: What was your very first impression of Doctor Who? Post by: Coconut-CocaCola on September 28, 2012, 03:42:05 am My first impression was this trailer with Eccleston walking in a tunnel with fire behind him and some clips with the plastic-monsters.
At that time I thought: Meeeeeh... Rubbish ::). Title: Re: What was your very first impression of Doctor Who? Post by: Nyki on September 28, 2012, 05:53:08 pm Watching the original title sequence on 23rd November 1963. Instantly hooked.

Post by: Blazin Goliath on September 30, 2012, 03:23:14 am I remember seeing the description for one of the episodes when I was little, but the only things that stuck with me from it was the phrase "The good Doctor" and something about being trapped. I always pictured an older English gentleman that adventures across the globe with a pretty assistant (So I really wasn't that far off), and I knew he had some sort of blue box with him.

And I wonder, do we really need to specify his good part? Since in each summary it would be "the Good Doctor fights Baddies". I don't know... When you say "Good Doctor" I picture a little dog wearing a fez and a bowtie.:P Title: Re: What was your very first impression of Doctor Who? I'd heard of Daleks but didn't even know what one looked like. I knew it was about a spaceman and that was about it. When I watched The Eleventh Hour I was hooked and I'm getting through the classics now pretty rapidly. |
