Title: Torchwood in the 50th
Post by: Tardis-Console on January 25, 2013, 02:20:14 pm
Do you think Torchwood and its cast should be included as part of the 50th anniversary episode of Doctor Who?

Barrowman has said he wants to but hasn't been asked (though this could be a fib on his part) but I think if they have him they should at least bring Gwen in too. Maybe even Rhys? I'm not bothered about the rest of the American cast though. It's just a shame Ianto, Tosh and Owen can't be part of it.

I'd be very surprised if we don't see Jack in some capacity but I don't think we will see anyone else involved

I think Ror is probably right. I'm not sure how much call there would be for Gwen and the others. I'm not sure how much call there would be for Jack if I am honest, but he seems to be the most likely of the lot.

I think if they are going to go all out and have characters return from the past then having Jack on board will probably be a give, but I don't see any real need for him to be a part of it otherwise. He's been out of the show so long that he isn't a main focus anymore.
