Title: Cinema

The BBC have announced today that, like the anniversary special, Peter Capaldi's full debut will be shown in cinemas around the world.

I'm still going to watch on TV, but it will be interesting to see if this is as successful as the anniversary screenings were. Will you be heading off to see it on the big screen?

I doubt it.  There probably won't be one anywhere near me, and in any case, Doctor Who is meant to be watched in your living room.  Even if I don't have a sofa  8)

It's in theaters in the States too, on Monday. It is my birthday on Monday as well, so my friends are taking me to watch it there.  :)

I'm going tonight!  I hope the extra scenes are worth the price of the ticket.

Just got back.  I was hoping the prequel would be them being chased and swallowed by the dinosaur, but nope, just Strax doing a rundown of the Doctor's regenerations.  Then after the credits they showed maybe a 10 minute "Confidential".  So, meh.

The friend I saw it with hadn't seen the episode yet.  And the theater was packed!  O0
