The Doctor In The TARDIS

This section of the forum is to discuss the release of DVD's and videos from within the Doctor Who universe.

Within this section you are free to discuss any past or future releases relating to Doctor Who, Torchwood, The Sarah Jane Adventures or any other related media.

Discussion of a DVD or video, either from the classic or current series or one of the spinoff's is completely open. Anything that is available on DVD has already, in most instances at least, been screened on television. Because of this, members who have perhaps not seen all episodes or stories of a particular series should be warned that discussions taking place within any given thread may bring spoilers.

With this in mind, in certain instances spoiler tags must be used during discussions. An example of this would be talking about the specially filmed scenes that have been released on the Series 5 DVD's. These have not been shown on TV and though they can be discussed within the thread in question, spoiler tags should be used in fairness to those who have not yet purchased the set. If you are in any doubt about what may or may not constitute a spoiler, then use one anyway for the time being and a moderator will remove them if they are not needed. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Each new release will be given its own thread for people to chat about, with bonus material and extra features added to the thread as and when they become known. Discussion of these as well as your thoughts on the story or release in general is fine, but for more in depth conversations or debates about each particular story or episode then there respective sections are the best place to find them. If there has been or will be a release that you would like to discuss that does not have it's own thread, then please feel free to start one with any information about the release or its features that you have.

Regardless of opinions about a product, there is to be NO attacks made on any merchandisers. If you have had a bad experience while purchasing a product then by all means share it, but leave any offensive comments towards the sellers out of your posts. As well as breaking forum rules this could also lead to legal troubles and a hefty fine for The Doc, which I am sure he would not be happy about.

If you need information about prices or the best places to purchase then feel free to ask within a thread, but you should first check out the merchandisers thread in The Little Shop where a list has been compiled with all the best places to shop for Doctor Who related products.
