Post by: Peri-Peri on November 19, 2010, 09:37:33 pm
This thread is a place to find links to all the best retailers selling Doctor Who, Torchwood and The Srah Jane Adventures merchandise. This list is by no means exhaustive and I am only adding the basics to start so please contribute any good links that you find so that people have more options. Also, just to make lide easier to you I have linked to the specific DW sections of each site so you dont even have to search :)

Ebay (http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=doctor+who&_sacat=See-All-Categories)

Also, The Doc sent me a message today to tell me about some new stores that are popping up around the country called 'Big'. I can't find a website but according to the Doc it is a little goldmine. Doctor Who series 1-Specials boxsets are currently selling on BluRay for £8.99. The same goes for Torchwood box sets and all classic DVD's are £4.99 per story or £9.99 for box sets such as The Beginning boxset. They are also all brand new apparantly so keep an eye out in case one pops up in your town.

Don't forget to add your links below :)

There is a sale on at Big Finish at the moment on a lot of DW audios. Boots also have 3 for 2 on a lot of DW related merchandise too with some new stuff in there (Dalek Drone / Ironside, Weeping Angels (Projected / Regenerating / Regenerated), Hawthorne, Prisoner Zero, Roman Auton, all for £9). Tesco also have a BOGOF on Classic figures.

I know it's a bit cheap, but I've been hunting car boot sales a lot lately and I've got some bargains. Yesterday I bought a TARDIS (I collect them) that was brand new, still in the packaging and unopened, for £1. It's about 15" tall and about 8" wide and there are six drawers inside it. I think it was meant for cards or something, but now I have loads of stationary inside it, like pins and rubber bands and paper clips etc and it's on my desk. It came with a quiz book too, which doesn't seem to go past series one, so I think it's pretty old, but it's awesome. Today I got another one that's about the same size. It has a light and a 'vworp vworp' sound effect in it. It's from the Matt Smith era judging by the orange background inside, and was without a box, but the condition is excellent and it was 50p
