Title: The Mazes Of Time Post by: Peri-Peri on November 23, 2010, 07:49:59 pm Tag Games have teamed up with BBC Worldwide to create a brand new Doctor Who game for the iPhone/iPod/iPad! The project will be released this Christmas on iTunes and has been written by Oli Smith who also penned the latest Wii games. Hopefully this time he didnt get to do the graphics too :P

I dont know if thats because of the resolution or because its just generally better but with all the money that went into the Nintendo games this makes them look pretty ****

I only came in here to say that an update has been released for this featuring the Autons. Its Christmas themed. The TARDIS lands in the 1980s, where a star fell to Earth. A plastic village has been erected around the area, where visitors are charged to view the star. but no one has returned after looking upon the object. I find the controls, while nice in concept, to be poorly executed. That alone makes the game infuriating enough to mean I can't really stand playing all that long.
On the plus side, the in-game music is very nice, taken right from the series five soundtrack - some of Murray Gold's best work, in my opinion. I want the Auton level I don't think you can get the Auton levels anymore. I could be wrong mind. I didnt know there were Silurian levels until recently either. Kept having to restart levels just to get the blocks to move. The later levels with the electric blocks was also a bit of a nightmare because you could only push them, not pull, so if they went up against a wall they were stuck there and you had to restart the level.
The level where you have to get the Dalek to shoot you to blow up the consoles was unbelievably difficult. It was great in theory, but with the controls of the game it just didnt work well and took ages to move properly. You have to connect the electric blocks to open the door, but there aren't enough blocks for them to reach both sides so I cant get passed it
