How can you be a fan of DW and not look forward to the christmas special ? Having said that last years was a nightmare but then it wasn't meant to be 'joyful' although it did have the lovely Timothy Dalton in it so mustn't grumble toooo much

So yes...definitely looking forward to..kind of hoping it will not be part of any story arc though....fancy a nice adventure with a beginning middle and an end...oh and snow

Big fan of River - I actually like that she KNOWS the Doctors future....knows him and clearly very well   And that all he really knows about her is what she was/is prepared to do.... for him. He is in her debt and yet
he has no idea what made her so loyal/devoted to him. Intriguing. Or at least - it should be

Still not sure that Eleven is 'her' doctor but hopefully that will become clearer in the new series.

I can't see Amy being killed off - not in the strictest sense of the word - but I won't be sorry to see her go. Out of all the companions so far she has irritated me the most. Which considering how much Rose irritated me is saying A LOT   

I'm not happy with the idea of two short series let alone that Matt should leave at the end of them. Neither make much sense to me I'm afraid 

Wasn't sure where else to say it.....so a thread seemed appropriate  It'll no doubt end up sounding like something out of the Waltons but...hey ho
