2  Travels In Time And Space / Pyramids of Mars / Re: The Ratings for Pyramids of Mars on: September 16, 2013, 12:52:01 pm
The ratings here are excellent. The show at it's height.
3  Travels In Time And Space / Pyramids of Mars / Re: Sutekh! on: September 16, 2013, 12:50:54 pm
I think it would be good to see him again. He was a bit panto at times, but for me that made him even more fun to watch.
4  Travels In Time And Space / Pyramids of Mars / Re: Scarman/Sutekh Confusion on: September 16, 2013, 12:50:13 pm
I think it was Sutekh speaking through him, but I think it could be read either way.
5  Travels In Time And Space / Pyramids of Mars / Re: Firsts and Lasts in Pyramids of Mars on: September 16, 2013, 12:48:58 pm
And if that doesn't count, it's the first appearance of Mars on the show.

It always surprises me that they left this so late. It seems like such an obvious place to take the show
6  Travels In Time And Space / Pyramids of Mars / Re: Random Facts About.... Pyramids of Mars on: September 16, 2013, 12:47:23 pm
The exterior shots were filmed at Mick Jaggers home in Berkshire
7  Travels In Time And Space / Pyramids of Mars / Re: Connections with Pyramids of Mars on: September 16, 2013, 12:44:43 pm
Sarah Jane mentions this adventure to Rose in School Reunion.
8  Travels In Time And Space / Pyramids of Mars / Re: TIQ Play Your Cards Right: Pyramids of Mars VS The Sensorites on: September 16, 2013, 12:42:36 pm
Better
9  Travels In Time And Space / Pyramids of Mars / Re: 19th October - 15th November 1975 on: September 16, 2013, 12:42:13 pm
One film was at number one for the whole time. It was called Let's Do It Again and I've never heard of it Undecided
10  Travels In Time And Space / Pyramids of Mars / Re: Sarah Jane Smith in Pyramids of Mars on: September 16, 2013, 12:37:05 pm
For me, this was one of the very best Sarah Jane stories/performances. She was brilliant from start to finish.
11  Travels In Time And Space / Pyramids of Mars / Re: The Fourth Doctor in Pyramids of Mars on: September 16, 2013, 12:36:16 pm
Tom Baker totally rocked it in this story and it's performances like this which see him consistently voted the best. He was brilliant.
12  Travels In Time And Space / Pyramids of Mars / Re: Mistakes and Inconsistencies in Pyramids of Mars on: September 16, 2013, 12:35:23 pm
There is a scene where Sarah Jane mentions that the puzzles in the pyramid at the end remind her of the City of the Exxilons, but she never actually went inside the City of the Exxilons
13  Travels In Time And Space / Pyramids of Mars / Re: Favourite Quotes from Pyramids of Mars on: September 16, 2013, 12:32:41 pm
The Doctor: Well you see Mr Scarman, I have the advantage of being slightly ahead of you. Sometimes behind you but normally ahead of you.
14  Travels In Time And Space / Pyramids of Mars / Re: Poll: Rate and Review Pyramids of Mars on: September 16, 2013, 12:28:51 pm
4 from me. It's a good story with a strong plot and a great cast, but there are a few bits which I am not so keen on and the last episode lets the story down a bit.
15  Travels In Time And Space / The Lodger / The TARDIS Upstairs on: September 16, 2013, 12:22:47 pm
I'm still a little lost by the point of it. I know it showed up in the following season for a little bit, but the reasons behind it are still a bit confusing to me. Why did they have a TARDIS as apposed to any other time machine? Why was it on Craigs roof? When this was on I expected payoff and when it never came I'd already forgotten about it, but on rewatch it stood out that it didn't really go anywhere.
16  Travels In Time And Space / The Lodger / Re: 7th - 13th June 2010 on: September 16, 2013, 12:19:43 pm
Sex and the City 2 was the number one film in the UK
17  Travels In Time And Space / The Lodger / Re: 7th - 13th June 2010 on: September 16, 2013, 12:19:06 pm
David Guetta was number one with Gettin' Over You
18  Travels In Time And Space / The Lodger / Re: The Ratings for The Lodger on: September 16, 2013, 12:15:55 pm
It's always going to lose out to things like football, but it should have bounced back with iPlayer, and yet that's not really any different from the average.
19  Travels In Time And Space / The Lodger / Re: TIQ Play Your Cards Right: The Lodger VS Turn Left on: September 16, 2013, 12:14:48 pm
Worse
20  Travels In Time And Space / The Lodger / Re: Craig and Sophie on: September 16, 2013, 12:13:39 pm
I was fully expecting to hate Craig, but he wasn't as bad as I'd expected he would be. I liked their story but I think it was done here and there was no need to come back for another in S6.
