Love the avatar Cool

Nice to see you here Smiley

Thanks Mandy.  That's my little Captain Jack Harkness. He is a little stinker.  Always in trouble, but lovable.   Smiley

I have a few rules too for Who watching:

1. No casual conversation about other stuff while "The Doctor" is on, jeesh. why would you want to talk about other stuff when Who is on anyway?

2.  I get the comfy chair and the comfy pillow to hold on to.

3. If you are coming to watch be on time! for heaven's sake. You don't want to miss anything?!

Probably this Christmas watching with family and friends.   Smiley

I voted for the Lodger but I actually liked all of Series 5. As mentioned in above posts, I also thought young Amelia was great with Matt.

Hi!
I am one of the old guard who has been a Doctor Who fan since the 1970's.  I love classic Who and new Who.  Had the thrill of my life to go to the Timequest II con in Cheshunt last March.  It was great to see the Doctors and meet Who fans.

Glad to meet everyone as a newbie on the forum.

cheers,
gabbie

I know a lot of people are unhappy with the current series but I genuinely liked MS from The Eleventh Hour on. It was difficult stepping into David Tennant's shoes and I think Matt has done well.  I remember people thinking the same thing about Peter Davison, that he couldn't possibly be the Doctor after Tom Baker.  PD proved them wrong and made the Doctor his own Doctor.  I think Matt is doing the same.

I started watching around 1974. My local PBS station was introducing Tom Baker as the new Doctor but they started with highlights from Pertwee so that fans would get an idea of what Doctor Who was all about.  The first actual episode I saw was Spearhead from Space.  Smiley
