Can't wait to see
Gattis
in Season 4, my guess is he could be Cotter Pike or Aeron Greyjoy?

K9

Cheers for running this Icey, been a while since the last one.
26  Travels In Time And Space / The Invasion Of Time / Re: Last Story/Episode You Watched? Part IV on: August 06, 2013, 09:08:50 pm
On a Nu Who rewatch with Icey, last one was Girl in the Fireplace.  We both commented on the similarity of some of Moff's plots, lol.

Great episode, thou Mickey and Rose are wasted and may as well as not been there, which makes a joke of having Mickey on board as a full time companion when he gets sidelined in his first ep imo.
27  Travels In Time And Space / The Name of the Doctor / Re: John Hurt ***Possible Spoiler*** on: August 06, 2013, 09:04:22 pm
There's also been a rumour that he will be appearing in the Xmas special and/or reoccurring in the whole of S8.  His deleted tweet from Sunday was interesting

Great to see you all again, this really is the sanest place to discuss Who so I'm glad it's back on track.  Much love Doc, missed you Sad Xx

3 from me too.  Some beautiful CGI, awesome 11 speech and Clara was good too.  Too much droning/singing for me thou, and could have maybe done with going through another script edit before filming as the pacing was off imo.

Here's my teasers.

Quote
“That’s what you said when you left your phone charger in Henry VIII’s suite”

There’s another Christmas reference

“Hey you! Bowtie! Get back across that line. Now”

“He shoots people’s hats??”

“I think the time for subterfuge has past. Good afternoon, my name is ****** ***, and I am the Doctor”

“That’s not the plan. He’s not following the plan”

“Looking at you Doctor is like looking into a mirror, almost. There’s rage there, like me. Guilt there, like me. Solitude. Everything but the nerve to do what needs to be done!”

The Doctor brings a secret weapon to the High Noon Standoff.

“Go, just go. I can’t save them while you’re here”

“I am a ******** ** ***; I have no role to play during peace”

Trailer Teaser: “Every time we flew away with the Doctor we just become part of his life. But he never stood still long enough to become part of ours…except once. The year of the **** ********”

Easily my favourite episode of S7 so far, I do love most of Whithouse's work thou so that may make me a lil bias :p

So, Christmas is mentioned again and we have more electric bulbs playing up when Amy is near them.  That's 3 episodes in a row, gotta be more than a coincidence surely?
32  Travels In Time And Space / Dinosaurs on a Spaceship / Re: The Ending... (spoilers within) on: September 11, 2012, 07:46:43 am
Yep, he deserved to die and I have no problem with it.
33  Travels In Time And Space / The Crusade / Re: General Spoilery Discussion for Series 7 & onwards on: September 01, 2012, 10:03:48 pm
My dialogue teasers for 7.02 (shhh, you're getting them a lil early as the embargo isn't up for another 2hrs, but I'm off to bed, lol)

“You think I would let you leave without me...after what we’ve just been through”

“Oh dear, I liked you before you said missiles.

“Well frankly that’s outrageous! You think you can ***** **** *** along without asking? I’m not a **** ******* you know!”

“With you? They’re ‘with you’? Are they the new us, is that why we haven’t seen you?”

“What do we do about the things that aren’t ********?”

“I will take you apart cog by cog and melt you down once this is all over”

“The ********* outwitted you even though you’d massacred them”

“Bring her to me, or my robots will make their way through your corpses”

“***** ****, you’re delicious!”

“I’m easily two men. You can come too, if you want”

Extra titbit: Brian boards the TARDIS in a fairly unique way.
34  Travels In Time And Space / Asylum of the Daleks / Re: Poll: Rate & Review Asylum of the Daleks on: September 01, 2012, 09:55:48 pm
4.5/5 for me (went for 4 in the poll).  **** Dalek story, easily my favourite of the new series so far, they were wonderfully creepy Cheesy  And I love the twist that none of them remember the Doctor now, I wonder if that will tie into the fall of the 11th on the Fields of Trezalore?

ETA: Who knew the word c r a c k i n g was four starable Shocked

36  Travels In Time And Space / The Doctor, The Widow And The Wardrobe / Re: Mistakes & Inconsistencies on: December 28, 2011, 05:29:09 pm
This may just be me, but it looked as though the halo thing on Madge's head dissapeared after it was put on, when the scene cut back to her.

Haha yeah, I had to look closer at that, she just wears it far back on her head, so it looks like she doesn't have it on from certain angles.

I don't know much about army/war telegrams, but surely they wouldn't send one to Madge saying her husband was dead (within a day, no less) when nothing would have been confirmed. Surely MIA would have made more sense, or something along those lines.

The telegram just said that he was lost over the channel on the night of the 20th, not that he was dead or even presumed so as no wreckage would have been found.  We see that she has it on the night of the 23rd so if anything there's a delay in getting the message to her if she only received it that day.
37  Travels In Time And Space / The Doctor, The Widow And The Wardrobe / Re: Is Moff Scared Of Death? on: December 28, 2011, 05:14:45 pm
Reg never died thou, he just went missing over the channel on the 20th due to having gone into the vortex and then reappearing on Xmas Day having taken a short cut.
38  Travels In Time And Space / The Doctor, The Widow And The Wardrobe / Re: Poll: Rate & Review The Doctor, The Widow And The Wardrobe on: December 25, 2011, 09:46:22 pm
Sorry folks, a two from me.
Since when can The Doctor breathe - and shout - in space?

Since it's played for entertainment rather than factual drama Tongue

Loved it, extremely Christmassy and very much more family orientated than last years.  I agree Vamp Adric that the kids where fantastic, not too schmaltzy or 'amateur'.  Bill Bailey was the highlight for me thou, well him and Humany wumany Grin

Being home, tucked up in my own bed without people prodding at me.

I apologise, I hadn't heard that Yates had said he could do a better job than RTD/Moffat, only that it had to be rethought out for the new medium of film (which is obvious really, lol).  I can understand why that would get some peoples back up.  When did he say that? Sad
