I have a feeling that I'm going to be friends mostly with the insomniacs  on here XD

Being on the other side of the pond, I'm five hours behind....

I agree, for the most part. The only part I disagree with is that I liked Simms- I think he showed a new side to the Master. However, if I had the ability to choose, I would have chosen Jacobi to play the Master all the way through. While Simms gave off an excelent portrayal of a mad man with an agenda, Jacobi's Master was just... Evil. When he said "Now I can say I was provoked" to Chantho, chills raced up my spine.

When I was eight, I was completely sure that I'd grow up to be a time traveler. I knew that it wouldn't happen, though, because I told myself that the first thing I would do would be to go back to the time where I first had this thought and prove to myself that it'd really happen, and since I didn't remember that, it would never happen... Unless I decided not to.

I was a complex child....

1515  Travels In Time And Space / Utopia/TSOD/LOTTL / Re: Martha Jones on: March 05, 2012, 12:28:26 am
I generally like the companions that choose to leave on their own. To me, it shows a strength of will to something I know I could never do- leave the Doctor. Martha is no exception.

I liked her throughout the series, although I dislike how she has to prove herself to the Doctor at the beginning. She's a very strong companion. I wish they could have left the romantic stuff with the Doctor out, though. It ruined the episodes with her a bit.

I noticed that the actor that played the man talking with the Master in the cabinet before he gassed them all is the same guy who played Lumic's number two in Rise of the Cybermen.

Not really that cool, just something I always loved about this show, the way they can move actors back in and get away with it.
1517  Travels In Time And Space / Utopia/TSOD/LOTTL / Re: Poll: Rate & Review The Sound Of Drums on: March 04, 2012, 11:09:38 pm
I think this series of episodes is one of my favorite.
After becoming a general fan of DW, I started looking up things relevant to the old show, and of course I found about Daleks, the Cybermen, and the Master. The Master was the only one that I hadn't seen or heard of, so, naturally, I was curious. I went on watching, and, sure enough, Utopia was three down from where I had been.... And I nearly fainted when Yana revealed himself as the Master. Then, actually being able to see the Master in action...
I'd be hard-pressed to rate this as anything other than a five.
