So first I will admit that I am brand new here, and I didn't actually read any of the posts on here yet. That being said if this has already been discussed....sorry! Allons-y!

So everyone is freaking out about the Silence and how our favorite Ponds are going to be leaving us. And like most fans I'm wondering how Moffat has decided to wring our hearts and leave us on the edge of our seats...again.

I saw something on facebook a while back about these mysterious shadows that have been around for a while. Most notably in the Vampires of Venice and The Eleventh Hour. In VoV you see this shadow race across the background in a scene where the Doctor is sneaking into the evil ladies castle/lair thing. And you definitely see a shadow in The Eleventh Hour. At the time we assumed it to be Prisoner Zero. But if you take another look you'll see that the shadown looks nothing like a large snake/worm warped thing. It looks like a humanoid shadow of some sort. I recall there being a few more sightings, I just can't list them from memory at the moment.

So any guesses on what these things are? Is it the Silence that have been running around and Moffat was slowly building up to the whole "things we see out of the corner of our eyes" bit? Or is this a new monster to be dealt with entirely?

Any thoughts? Comments? Etc?
