Fanatical For Who / Appreciation Threads / Re: Adric... No seriously Adric

I completely agree 100% with your assessment here. In fact, I prefer Adric to Tegan, who I've always found annoying, and your Adric/ Wesley analogy was spot-on. Of course, that may be because I like Wil Wheaton's characterization and portrayal too. Hey, he's better than Deanna Troi! ("I can sense you're feeling upset, Captain." So can I! Patrick Stewart is a mater emoter!) PS: If you don't get what I said about Troi above, immediately, don't bother to figure it out. You won't understand it.

Just behind City of Death as the greatest Doctor Who story EVER! I absolutely love this story. It is lyrical, magical, funny, clever, with a truly tear-jerking ending. With so many quotable lines (only City of Death and maybe Genesis of the Daleks having more), great music, David Tennant's best performance, stunning attention to detail, I only consider Eve Myle's so-so performance an element that isn't successful.

#15 Polly's Knickers Usually we think of Zoe as the first to display her knickers or give us a quick (clothed) upskirt but guess what? "We've got it all wrong!" When I bought The Tenth Planet DVD I thought I noticed something which, after a quick Google search, proved true: When Polly Nolastname climbs into the bunker, you get to see a majority of her knickers. Her black knickers are kind of hard to see in black-and-white but if you squint Anneke Wills' underwear is quite visible.

This'll be counting down all the sightings of female's knickers, cleavage and other things of the sort, from... well, why should I spoil it now? I've noticed that most people start these top-10 things but never really go through with them so I'm dedicated on going from beginning to end
Whenever possible, I will add a picture, within the realm of appropriate. Also if you're offended by this sort of thing than don't read this any further because I'm posting my first one in a few minutes.
Let's begin, shall we?

AZTEC LOVE BY LASTOFTHEJAGAROTH (This is a continuation of a plot thread in The Aztecs and was inspired by a throwaway line in The Tenth Doctor Issue #2. Hope you enjoy!)
She stood by the gardens, with a melancholy expression on her face. She began to hobble around, stopping to look at flower, now and again. She was getting old and there was no way to stop that; but if there was only some way to invigorate her. Nothing had given her cheer for the past 10 years, and she doubted anything ever would, not at this time in her tine. Except...
There was that one charming, wonderful, old man who everyone called the Servant of Yetaxa. She was not so sure. She quickly destroyed that thought. Blasphemy! She hoped the gods would forgive her Still, whoever that man was, he had stolen her heart right out of chest and had never returned it. That was all gone now. They were engaged for those few short days but left and never returned. The very thought of it sent a shiver up and down the woman. The sight of him, for one moment, would fill her with joy. She just knew it.
She gave a long, dejected sigh. Thoughts of him were so painful, she wish she could dash away all her memories of that man.
No! she thought suddenly. If it were not for the recollections of him, who knows where I would be now? I might've give myself up for sacrifice. I will remember him for the rest of my days, no mater how long that may be.
Then, there came an odd wheezing and groaning noise. Out of nowhere, as if by magic, a blue box appeared. Where it came from she had no idea and she was terrified. Could this be a god coming to punish her? Then the doors opened with a creaked and out stepped very peculiar men. He had brown, curly hair and this odd thing, flung around his neck.
"Hello, Cameca," he said in a deep voice.
"Who are you?" Cameca squeaked, horrified. The man said nothing but he gave a reassuring smile and held out a green bracelet. Cameca recognized it instantly and her heart melted A single tear rolled from her eye.
"My Doctor," she whispered. She knew her life was going to better from now on.

I was really struggling between Remembrance of The Daleks and Rose but eventually I ended up with Remembrance, mainly because of all the great lines and, of course, one of, if not THE, best cliffhanger (That Dalek gliding up the stairs, much to the Doctor's horror.) Still, I love Rose too.

Titan Comics has recently released 3 new series: The New Adventures of the Tenth, Eleventh and Twelfth, which I think are fabulous (especially the Tenth Doctor). I would recommend you buy one... or two or three or fifteen. If you do, please discuss your thoughts on them with me. I would love to hear them.

Wow. I really do have different views than most. Just about everyone here have said it's funny. I, on the other hand, couldn't find one joke I laughed at. The whole "body-swap" thing was too farcical for words and it just wasn't original. The only saving grace was our two leads. If I could describe it one word it would be: Yecch.

Travels In Time And Space / The Invasion Of Time / Re: The Best And Worst Of Each Doctor

Here goes: FIRST DOCTOR Favorite: Marco Polo (even based on audio alone) Least Favorite: The Dalek Invasion of Earth (as I've said on multiple occasions) SECOND DOCTOR Best: The Mind Robber (scary, funny, weird and original) Worst: The Wheel in Space (extremely tedious) THIRD DOCTOR Best: The Claws of Axos (really, really, really fun) Worst: The Monster of Peladon (a virtual remake of Curse of Peladon but not nearly as fun) FOURTH DOCTOR Best: City of Death (flawless) Worst: The Invisible Enemy (a few interesting ideas executed poorly) FIFTH DOCTOR Best: The Caves of Androzani (dark and fascinating, with great performances) Worst Resurrection of the Daleks (see: Too reliable on continuity?) SIXTH DOCTOR Best: The Trial of a Time Lord: Mindwarp (fun, dramatic with great acting all around) Worst: The Two Doctors (boring, padded, with a need for gratuitous violence) SEVENTH DOCTOR Best: Paradise Towers (yes, I know. Shocking but I'll explain this on another occasion) Worst:Battlefield (BORING!!!) NINTH DOCTOR Best: The Empty Child/ The Doctor DANCES (See: Rate & Review The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances Worst: Boom Town (a dull teaching the art of padding) TENTH DOCTOR Best: The Girl in the Fireplace (it's just plain magical) Worst: New Earth (a lame attempt at sheer comedy but really isn't funny) ELEVENTH DOCTOR Best: The Snowmen (brimming with class, with wonderful performances by Smith and Coleman) Worst: Let's Kill Hitler (making Hitler a figure of fun was plain abhorrent and the script was stupid)
