Lots of people have said they feel the same, though I think if used in the right story they could be terrifying again. Regardless of their look, they havent really been used in a threatening or scary manner for a long while. I think the story makes a lot of difference to how they are perceived

I heard that the actor is leaving to do his exams or something. Though in the show I think they have skipped a year as he apparantly leaves by driving off in his new car. I didnt even think he was old enough to drive, let alone pass his test already. Does he even drive in real life?

Hi, I'm JJ. I was born in Paris, France but I have lived in Brighton since I was 6. I am a massive Dalek fan and I love Doctor Who. I became a fan in 2005 when Christopher Eccleston was the Doctor and I loved him, though my favourite is Matt Smith now. My favourite story is The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances. I don't know what else to put, so that will have to do for now

Travels In Time And Space / Mission To The Unknown / Re: How Will You Be Watching The Xmas Ep?

My partner and I will be watching it together once all the food and drink has been consumed and we are pigged out on the sofa. The phone will be muted, the doors locked, and we will be set. Doctor Who really has become a huge part of christmas for me. I love the specials, even if I dont always love them. If you get me?

The first game was the best by miles. The second was ok, and that third was pretty awful. Ive played the first one about 6 times, though never gone back to the others. I hope the last one is just as good as the first.

Travels In Time And Space / The Tin Dog / Re: The Redesign

I understand why they did the redesign. From what I know, there is no mention of Doctor Who in the new series, so from an Australian audience POV, they may not know there is any connection and so a retro 70's looking prop would look really random in a new show.
From a Doctor Who fans POV though I can understand why the design is hated. Personally the retro look is what I love about K9 and I think the redesign makes him look a bit too futuristic and silly. I havent watched the show, but I have seen a clip, and it just doesnt look right.

I love the new Daleks. Absolutely love them. I wont mind if they hold them back for a series, because when they reappear again it will no doubt be in an epic story. I know the new look is a bit clunky and many say it is to sell toys, but I think they look great. They are bigger and more imposing and the colours are great. I miss the swivelling midsection I must be honest, but I think these ones, given the right story could be truly terrifying. We only saw them all at once during series 5, but in the games when they sectioned off by colour and doing their own thing that each colour reprisents, they made more sense. I know there is a lot of hate for the new colours, but I really think they look ace
