Anyone else caught this yet?
Just watched the first 2 episodes & I really enjoyed it!
It ticks all the deliciously cheesy comic book boxes - silly villains, stoic heroes, surreal mentors, daft superhero names!
My only gripes were Vinnie Jones, who needs to come to terms with the fact he cannot act for toffee, and episode 2 had a french assassin who I simply couldn't understand. Bonus points for having Richard Schiff (Toby from The West Wing) in ep 2 as well though!
I'm looking forward to more, but as it has Summer Glau in it, it'll probably (and underservedly) get cancelled!

I considered this, but the whole inclusion of Vinnie Jones put me off. Along with Jack Black, Steven Segal and Nicolas Cage, I just can't bring myself to watch anything with Vinnie Jones in. Shame though because I have heard it's half decent

I'm right there with you on those!! If it helps, he's only in about 3 scenes in the first episode, and gets a rather amusing ass kicking?

Ha, it might be worth it for that alone I don't want to spoil it, but it involves a height difference & Wizard of Oz jokes...

I watched a bit of this, though not a whole episode, and it was ok. I don't know if I would stick with it for a whole run but it seems like the type you can dip into an catch up with every now and again

Got ep 3 here to watch. Must admit, so far it's the first show I've not disliked Summer Glau in. Never been a fan of James Frain, but his hammy style is well fitted here!
Like you say, River, it's prob gonna be one you can dip in & out of with ease.
