Mickey's terrified, Rose just takes it in her stride. Love it.

This is where I started hating Mickey. They made him better in S2, but he was just a bumbling idiot clutching her legs here and it just made him look ridiculous. Rose shouldnt have hesitated for even a second

Oh, he really annoyed me. Loved his transformation later though.

You know, I watched season one after watching both Doctor's 10 and 11 - and I really didn't like 9.  But watching this again now - I have a new appreciation for him Smiley

I think this is why I didnt take to Rory straight away. He was treading so close to becomming Mickey and I couldnt bare it all again

I agree - when I first saw Rory I thought about the whole Mickey thing.  But I love Rory - he's a great character!

He was the first Doctor whose series I watched in full. The only thing that got me through his regen was knowing the Doctor he would turn out to be from having caught some of S2...and knew that was my Doctor.

But really... "Wonderful chap...all of them."

Amy and Rory were such horrible parodies of Rose and Mickey that I wondered if the entire series was just going to be bad borrowing and rehashing of previous seasons.

He really is awesome. He has a hard edge to him, but to be expected after the Time War.

I loved watching his evolution and coming to terms with it all....

I think weekends would be best for this moving forward; it's the best way to accomodate all of the timezones.
