The Runaway Jury

I've always wanted to read that but never got around to it. I saw the film though and it was brilliant.

Quest, the forth Septimus Heap book by Angie Sage, I Shall Wear Midnight by Terry Pratchett and Shakespeare: The World as Stage by Bill Bryson.

I never read just one book at a time :O

Trust you to pick up on it Tongue  Yes it's Queste, was in a hurry before heading out for dinner at a mates house last night, lol.

It's the 4th one of 6 (so far, I think 7 is the plan), and I much prefer them to the Harry Potter series both plot wise and narrative Afro  The first one, Magyk, is currently in pre production with WB; they bought the rights 4-5 years ago but wanted the Potter films all outta the way before they started on them, lol.

I think Queste is the last one I read. You prefer it to HP?  Shocked Shocked Shocked Woah! Tongue

Brisingr by Christopher Paolini.
When I read Brisingr (bought the day it came out, and finished it in 3 days), I thought it was the final book in the series, and as I got ¾ of the way through, I realised it wasn't nearing a conclusion, and when I reached the last page, I wanted book 4 immediately.  Unfortunately, I could find NO news on the internet about a 4th book for a couple of weeks after the 3rd book release, which was really frustrating.  I've had "Inheritance" (the 4th book) pre-ordered on Amazon since it was announced, and it's not due out until November.  I'm not usually an impatient person, but I wish Mr Paolini could write faster.   Grin

Anyways, currently reading Hunter's Moon by Paul Finch, one of the BBC New Series Adventures Doctor Who books.

Brisingr by Christopher Paolini.

How many books are in this series? I found three under my bed the other day when I was doing my clearout. I assume they are part of a series because they all have the same style covers. I have never seen them before in my life though. They are big huge fancy hardbacks and I have no idea where they came from or who they belong to. There is ^^ that one, Eldest and Eragon. The only thing I can think of is that someone leant them to me and never asked for them back or something. They look brand new. I might Ebay them or something because they aren't really something I would read.

There are those 3 so far & a fourth (and allegedly* last) one is due out in November. Might be a good time to try & cash in, esp if they are hardbacks in good condition.

* I say allegedly because it was originally supposed to be a trilogy.

I have the first 3 in hardback (and are in good condition), and have pre-ordered the 4th (in hardback), but I wouldn't sell them willingly.  I love these books, and plan on reading the first 3 again just before the 4th one comes out, so it's all fresh in my mind.
If I get to the end of the 4th book to discover that the story still hasn't ended, and there will be a 5th book, I think I'll scream...

The Other Boleyn Girl

I've read that, though it was a while ago - will be interested to hear what you think of it. Have you read any other Philippa Gregory books?

Nope. I saw the film and took issue with what the Americans did to the roles and the historical accuracy so I got the book in the hopes of rectifying it. Hopefully it will be better
