This is just a question... Has anyone ever heard of the Discworld series? Is it worth a read?
Of course, though I've never actually read any of them (have seen TV adaptations of 3 of them though) - it is very high up on my list of series to read. The only reason I haven't so far is because there are so many of them! Definitely going to tackle them when I cave & get an e-reader

Finished The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest (at long last) - the final 100 pages or so were unputdownable!
Finishing off The Hunger Games, then might try A Game of Thrones?

More series I want to read - there's really not enough hours in the day! I'm onto The Hostile Hospital by Lemony Snicket now.

The Carnivorous Carnival by Lemony Snicket.
If you're enjoying those, be sure to check out the movie! It may not be very canon to the books, but it's still entertaining, and Jim Carrey plays a very convincing olaf

In Stitches
A collection of stories written by an A+E doctor. It's ok, fairly interesting but a bit disjointed.
