Hi,

I know that the 8th Doctor never got a tv series & only got to shine in the Doctor Who movie & to some extent in the audio stories but nevertheless I absolutely adore him.

He's suave, sophisticated, sweet, slightly clumsy, rocks that bohemian look like no other, has lovely hair, soulful eyes & the most sensual dulcet tones ever! Wink
After the 10th Doctor who is my ultimate fave, the 8th Doctor with his romantic manner has won my heart...

 Any other 8th lovers? Smiley

He is also vain, ego-centric and quite mad

One of the great imponderables is 'How would McGann have been if he had been given a couple of seasons'. For what it is worth I completely agree with the elegant summary provided by the OP and think he had the potential to be one of the greatest.

The 8th Doctor is underated, and it's a shame he only had one TV appearance. he should be a part of a multi-doctor story for sure

I really, really hope that he does get more screen time at some point.  It was such a shame that he wasn't seen in Rose, but I guess that him dying first would have confused the new viewers to the show.  Telling the story from Rose's POV was the best way to hook people in.

One day I shall come back. Yes, I shall come back. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Just go forward in all your beliefs and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine.
