I found that extra bit of footage that the Americans were talking about before the titles.

Hmm ... I'm very glad we didn't get that because inserting it in there (or anywhere into the story frankly) seems a bit nonsensical. Strikes me as being more like an advert than anything else. Bizarre  Huh?

I think that the point of it was to explain the show a bit to people who are just starting to watch.  But I really hope that they don't do that with every episode here this season!

Yeah I know & it makes sense from a recap or story so far point of view but the choice of placement was ... well bemusing. Surely before the episode started would have been more logical  Huh?

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that it doesn't happen again  Smiley

Isnt this being shown for the first time tonight in Aus/NZ? Do we have any members from down that way who just saw it for the first time?

I'm a little late to the party but I just gave this full marks. I was totally blown away by it and it was an amazing first episode.

Sorry for reviving old old threads, but on a series 6 rewatch so it feels right.

What the hell was I thinking? 3? Was I blind/deaf when I watched this?

Such a fool. Such a big fool I was :p

Easily the best opener, easily a 5/5!
