This thread is now unlocked. As always, say what you like but don't vote until after the show

Now and then, every once in a very long while, every day in a million days, when the wind stands fair and The Doctor comes to call, everybody lives.

That was superb!! Absolutely brilliant. The ending was heartbreaking. Full marks from me. I'm going to rewatch it now and then will review it properly afterwards

Absolutely brilliant. It hit every note perfectly. I can't tell you the amount of times I gasped and cheered and clapped at all the various little bits. 5/5 from me. I loved it

That was about as good as it gets. Has to be one of the best episodes since the show came back.

Well that was just fantastic. I missed a load of dialogue, not sure why. But I loved it. Which surprised me, because from the trailer and first 5 mins I didn't think I would.
I loved the Helena Bonham Carter-esque TARDIS, seeing the TARDIS interior, the old control room...
Everything really. Needs a rewatch.

That was brilliant. I loved all the references to the classic series. It was brilliantly written and brilliantly acted. Matt Smith put in his best performance without a doubt

I gave it a 5 because that was just amazing. I'll be watching that again before the night is over

As I said on twitter, Neil Gaiman just took the other writers to school. That was about as pitch perfect an episode of Doctor Who as you'll ever see.
Also, I'm now in love with Suranne Jones.

As some of you may know. I have been eagerly awaiting this. I wasn't in any way disappointed.
Best Writer on the planet meets best show on the planet. That was everything I ever want in a show.
Best story of 11's tenure.

I've given it a 4, great episode for fans and some stellar acting from all but I felt the story dragged a little in the middle.

Couldn't agree more. One of those times where you think that the whole couldn't possibly live up to the sum of its parts. But somehow it did.

I just finished watching it and I want to just watch it again. It was such an amazing episode. There was humor and heartbreak and everything in between. To be honest, with all the hype I was prepared to be unimpressed but I was happily proved wrong. I can't say enough good things about this episode. What a fantastic ride it was!!

I loved every minute of it , and ignoring the 'I'm Amy Pound' opening which I loathe , I rated 'The Doctor's Wife' a 5.
