Perpugilliam Brown. The name alone is made of win. I just love this character. Dont get me wrong, she was naff at times and her american accent switched between different ends of the States in the blink of an eye, but that all just made me love her more. The character and actress get a lot of stick, but I mean come on, she was awesome. Especially in 'Caves'. She is also really nice in person. I dont suppose many will agree with me, but this can be my little shrine to her.

How I remember/know Peri:

The Master tried to hypnotize her. And couldn't.

He had to resort to a pocketwatch. And still couldn't.

I lol'd.  Cheesy

Grin

There are hundreds of reasons I remember her. I think for me she was so great because she was so different from all the companions that came before her. I would love to see her make a return to the show. I would squee for a month Cheesy

I unashamedly love Peri. But you all know this by now!
She was hilarious, endearing, gorgeous & funny all in one big Nicola Bryant shaped package!!

Love to see her pop up in SJA - I have a feeling NuWho wouldn't be as much fun with a companion return now, besides, look how well the SJA Jo Grant return was received.

Just watched Blackadder's Christmas Carol and noticed Nicola's name in the cast list. She played "Millicent." Rewinding a bit and I could recognize her.

I don't think I have ever seen her in anything outside of Doctor Who. I could probably say that for most of the classic companions, actually.

Why would you ever need to see them outside of Doctor Who? Tongue
