Quote from: The Discontinuity Guide
'Contact has been made...' An ambitious project which has the look of a grand folly due to budget constraints and the tongue-in-cheek script. Great model work is dwarfed by the weight of the story's faults. K9 makes a quite impressive debut, though, as with many aspects of The Invisible Enemy, the ideas are better than the realisation.

Maybe not one of the more exalted stories, but I really liked it. We got K-9, and honestly, the Nucleus, in its smaller microscopic form, really creeped me out. Which is saying a lot considering how un-frightening the classics are for my generation.

Today, the Kaled race is ended, consumed in a fire of war. But, from its ashes will rise a new race. The supreme creature. The ultimate conqueror of the universe. The Dalek!
