5 out of 5 (surprise surprise). A brilliant opener and the perfect reintroduction for Donna. The scene of her miming through the doorway will forever be one of my all time favourites. There wasn't a huge story there but it was a nice fun story to bring the show into a new series and I think it hit the mark perfectly

3 from me.  I liked Donna's aspect of it, but I find the Adipose as annoying as the Slitheen.

Four. A good story and an interesting way of reintroducing Donna to the Doctor, but I took a point off for the pointless scene with Rose and the guy with the cat flap being so annoying

The bit with Donna & Ten miming is priceless!
That alone gets this a 5.

I went with a three on this. I really like the story, but it is one of the weakest of the season and was mainly just one of those episodes where the story is second to the intro of the companion, so while I enjoy it I think 3 is fair Smiley

He is also vain, ego-centric and quite mad

Its been such a long time since I watched this - so I re-watched and it was blooming brilliant. Fun and menace in equal measure. The season arc nicely and incongruously embedded (thats how to do a story arc Moff - light touch) and Sarah Lancashire is disconcertingly delicious as the villain.

A solid gold 5 for me.
