I ended up missing it but luckily I set it to record. I'll watch it this evening now probably

Now and then, every once in a very long while, every day in a million days, when the wind stands fair and The Doctor comes to call, everybody lives.

I forgot all about this. How far along is it in the US? I'll download it if they are quite far ahead

Just a little bump to say that Starz have cancelled this one. They cited "production difficulties" but there's a good chance it was in part due to the guy playing Arthur taking a role elsewhere.

Oh - hadn't heard that. Am quite enjoying it as well. Oh well, at least I've got a good few eps left to enjoy yet

I've seen the first four episodes and I'm enjoying it mostly. I love Joseph Fiennes as Merlin, and I think Morgan's excellent too. Jury's still out on Arthur - he's done sulky adolescent well, but can he do mature as well? Interesting idea to reverse the love triangle - I wonder how that'll work out. One niggle, though, is that if they're going to go on about things being Roman remains (Camelot and the sword for instance, they should make some effort to make them look Roman, not thoroughly medieval.

This is why I hate getting too involved with American shows, because just as you are getting into them they get cancelled, and its made even worse when you look at some of the crap that manages to get renewed year after year

I couldn't agree more, Saber. Most recent example, Breaking In, an awesome comedy show in the vein of Scrubs which I positively LOVED. also, The Defenders. don't start me on Human Target, I get upset. I thought Fiennes was excellent in Camelot, it had loads of potential IMO.

The DVD of this is out in the UK on Monday - bit strange considering the last ep isn't on til next weekend but there you go, makes sense to somebody!
Got to say I have really enjoyed so far & I'm gutted it's been cancelled as there is so much potential there. Ho hum!

Having seen the last episode now I'm even more gutted - you can't leave a show like that!
