Don't live in London, but, okay as cheesy as it sounds, there are all the parks in London, so you could meet there and do like bring some food in one of the parks. Hyde park is really nice- my favourite park in London

That's pretty central isn't it? Has it got some nice pubs/restaurants close by? How far away is the O2 from there? Would you like to phone a friend?

Erm, Hyde Park is pretty big lol! Erm yeah it's kinda central, Knightsbridge and Marble Arch are the two closest tube stations I can think of (there's probably some more) ! Erm, not too sure about pubs! Still 17 so don't really know about much about pubs! but erm, there's loads of pubs around the place in London, and surely one of them would be OK. 'Caue I don't actually live in London, about 20 mins away on the train just trying to think! Then to get to the O2 from Knightsbridge it would be on the Piccadilly line and Jubilee Line with a little walk, but would take about half hour! Only because the O2 is pretty far along, and not really that central! Why the O2 may I ask? Sorry I can't be more helpful!

I could definitely make London, probably not Cardiff. And I'd agree, St James is definitely the most attractive of the central ones, but it tends to get very crowded in the summer (I used to work just on the other side of the palace from there).

Well, we can always walk up to a quieter spot, it isn't too far really between local parks.

Can I just say, that my August is already filling up, would we be able to put down a couple of provisional dates? Currently the possible days I put forward are 23rd-28th of Aug... (Tues-sun) Which is most of a week... But I need to start planning as I need to start arranging filming days/nights and hopefully beg some production companies for work experience as well as planning round my Wales trips, as I have decided I'm going to try and go to Diff Con ( http://www.diffcon.co.uk/) I know other people will be looking at holidays and stuff soon, but if we can get a couple of possible days sorted, it makes things easier... I know it is only April still...but, busy life

Now the votes are equal And the total interested appears to be 10 I think in view of the fact that we don't intend to book anywhere for a meet up we can afford to take a little more time to confirm up dates. However I think it's a given that we all have busy lives and diaries tend to get filled fast so if this is to happen we need to have something to work with. As best I can tell Becca seems to be the only one restricted with dates so if everyone else who is interested in going can give a yay or nay to the time frame she has suggested maybe we can make some headway. So.... provisionally....it's London sometime between the 23-28th August

Mums can be such a pain can't they? Mine was the same but being a mum myself now I understand the reasoning I'll be travelling up from Worthing ( south coast ) so if helps sway things in your favour I can meet up with you on the way? At least your mum will know you're not travelling on your own

Mine was the same but being a mum myself now I understand the reasoning I'll be travelling up from Worthing ( south coast ) so if helps sway things in your favour I can meet up with you on the way? At least your mum will know you're not travelling on your own Ah true, I'll still be 17 at the time! Man I'm sooooo young! I'll be going from Woking (South West Trains), so depends what train line you'll be on! Nah, I think she'll be fine with it! If not I'll just drag one of my friends along! I think it's more that she doesn't know the people I'll be meeting up with! Ah well I'm almost 17, and will be going off to uni (hopefully) in like a year! She'll have to live with me being out by myself!

That seems OK with me. I don't have far to get to London. I went to Germany by myself at 17
