I'm set to finish City of Death tonight or tomorrow, and I see that Shada was supposed to be at the end of this season. When is the best time to watch/read it? Should I go ahead and do it when I get to where it was supposed to have been, or do it later?

Also, what are your favorite versions of Shada? I know there's a book and a couple different videos, though I'm not really that familiar with them. Eventually I'll see/read them all, but what's a good choice for the first time?

It's definitely worth watching a recon but I wouldn't say it was essential to the wider story. Most fans don't even see it as canon. The Shada book that was released last year is a great read and a recon was released to DVD 2 weeks ago. There is info about that in the DVD section at the bottom of the forum Smiley

I got the Shada box set last week. Theres some cool stuff on it so I would definitely recommend it. The recon itself is really well done and the bonus stuff and interviews etc, both for this and the documentary that comes with it, are all great.

I got it yesterday but haven't watched as yet. I've got it penciled in for the weekend.
