Perhaps if the read through is today then filming will start on Ep7 before Monday? Is the turnaround usually pretty fast?

Yep, there's not long between read through and start of filming. Tom from DWM mentioned he read the script yesterday, he teased afterwards that he has no idea how the fans are gonna make it through the hiatus until Episode 8 after what happens in it :O

So if the readthrough is today, but Alex Kingston is filming that idiot man's show in the US this evening, does that rule her out of episode 7? I hope not because I would like to see her in more episodes this year.
I still think (hope) that she is secretly in episodes 3 and 4.

No you are right, its a 7-6 split so as Tardis-Console said the second half of the episodes 7&8 two parter will be the opening episode of 6.2 Reading that back it looks a bit confusing so hopefully it makes sense |

I would imagine we won't find out much about it. Aside from them wanting to keep it a secret because its the mid series cliffhanger, the last story they filmed was pretty much entirely on location so I would imagine that they will balance costs by having this one as more of a studio shoot

You're probably right. I would imagine that Moff wants to keep as much under wraps as possible. I wouldnt even be surprised if some faked stuff got 'leaked'. |

Well because of the change in running order, Episode three is now waiting to be filmed so I think it is in the production block with episode 7 now. Thats what DWM is implying anyway
As for putting out fake spoilers Roranicus, I think you are spot on. Again, according to DWM, Moff has written several ending to episode 7 to prevent spoilers and leaks.

Both Rusty and the Moff have seemed to delight in putting out confusing spoilers that sends 'us lot' (i.e. the more dedicated fans) into a tailspin Thats part of the fun of spoilers - weaving a whole sub-plot out of a stolen sentence or two |
