Forgot to add that there is also some filming signs pointing out towards Penarth, but it was the opposite way from where I was going so I didn't follow them. I didn't see them over the weekend so I'd guess they've been set up for either today or the next couple of days.

I've heard on twitter that there's something going on in LLandaff North

I've heard they're down in Gabalfa. It's not far so I'm going to drive down. If I see anything I'll report back and hopefully get some pics

Currently sat outside Rose and Jackies flat. No filming but there's a couple of vans and some areas are coned off. All the location signs are up so I guess it's just a case of when. It'll probably be a night shoot and begin when I've left

Spoke too soon. Someone's just come to move the cones and two blacked out cars have just pulled up

I've driven over to the base to check out what's happening there. Couple of rigs and vans, catering, trailers, etc. it's set up at the barracks. No sign they're actually filming here that I can see and no sign of actors

I'm freezing and there's no actual action yet so I'm off for a bag of chips and then home. Sorry guys. Maybe tomorrow after work

Home now. I've got a couple of shots of the base from my phone but there's nothing spoilery or even particularly exciting so I won't upload them until tomorrow. There's a sign saying filming will be there tomorrow from 8-7. I'm in work until half four but will drive over and see if I can get something before they finish up for the day. They're filming on the football pitch beside the flat block so it's wide open and easy to get shots.

No, that was down nearer to the prison. It looks similar from a distance, but the tower blocks in the background are actually about 5 miles from the ones used in the closeups.

I drove past on my way in this morning and they were setting up the TARDIS. Very exciting. I've got the blurriest picture on my phone from hanging out the car going past. Doctor Who is turning me wreckless I'm going to make some excuses to get out of work and go watch. One of the boys owes me a favour so I'm going to try and get him to come cover for me. If I can manage it I will get as much as I can in terms of info an pictures. It's right next to Tesco so I will go with a coffee and sandwiches and park my arse for the day and keep updates from my phone.

I've just popped home to get my camera. I've got a macro lens so I should be able to get some good close ups. I drove by on the way back and Matt and Jenna were there so I should get something good

Matt and Jenna doing the same scene over and over. They both walk out the TARDIS about 20ft and then hug. Jenna walks off looking very pleased with herself, sort of like a kid, and then Matt follows. She's in a tartan skirt and black top. He's in his Victorian coat

Also, some of the balconies have Xmas decorations up. Doesn't look Christmassy though. More like a chav hasn't taken them down by June
