I am intrigued to find out what other people thought of this episode? Personally I thought it was one of the weaker episodes of the series, but that's my opinion. What do others think?

I seem to change my opinion of this episode every time I watch it. Sometimes I think it is great and then other times not so much. I'm not a huge fan of the Dream Lord and I dont like the OAP Aliens, but I think the basic plot is brilliant. Except for the copout ending with the pollen. That was lame

Yeah, agreed, I think the whole epiosde was kind of a clever idea, but definitely the ending was such a let down.... it was like ooohhhh we've had all this stufft to decide which is real and which isn't, and in the end it turns out that both aren't real and they all live happily ever after??? HUH???
To me that makes no sense!

I actually watched this last night as the Mrs is telling me we have to rewatch series 5 in order before Saturday!
My opinion hasn't changed on it. Possibly my least favourite episode of the series - psychic pollen? Honestly?

The Psychic Pollen bit is lame. Its another example of the DW people writing a good story but having no clue how to end it. I don't mind the story overall, I think there are some great ideas in there, but something about it jars for me. I also don't like the Dream Lord at all. They should have just got the Valeyard back in because thats essentially what it was. It was like they wanted to go down that route but then chickened out of using him

I really quite liked Amy's Choice - and actually loved the Dream Lord (probably because I have a Dream Lord following me round in my head all the time). There were some story-telling 'choices' I didn't really like which makes the story quite an uncomfortable watch for me personally.
One thing I loved was Murray Gold's music - thought it really added to the story telling!

Well, I obviously loved it. I do like that the dream lord was a dark part of the doctor's personality. You know he said it was the pollen, but then at the end, he saw the dream lord in his reflection, so the threat is still out there. I enjoyed it.

2 from me. Bit of a rubbish story with a villain that I seem to be only one who dislikes. It had it's highlights, but they were few and far between. Probably my least favourite of the series

I went with a four. It's not my favourite story but it was an interesting story and some of the themes it explored were really cool

I went with a three. Some of the story and themes were great, but I hated the Dream Lord

Going with a 3. I really like some parts of the story but others I really don't like, and the whole ending was a complete cop out I think!
