Just to accompany todays poll over on the site, how would you feel about Amelia making another appearance? Personally I would love it. For someone with no acting experience, she did a fantastic job and although there arent many reasons to revisit Amy's childhood, I think there could be some great ways to bring her back (Psychotic psychiatrists being one ) but what do you think? Should she return or not?

Absolutely, 100% totally and utterly agree. The opening scenes with her and MS in the 11thHour were what sold me on him as the Doctor. I am not a massive Amy Pond fan - so yes please. Indeed could we replace Amy with Amelia..? *Looks in legal texts on child labour and regulation of child actors and realises he has just asked a silly question*

I'd quite like to see her showing up again at some point. And, if her whole childhood was changed by the crack in her wall (her parents ceasing to exist for one thing) and then got changed back again / had never been changed in the first place, in The Big Bang, surely there's some scope for the difference between the two versions of her life (or many and continually-changing but always having been the same just not the same same as they were five minutes ago. Or something) becoming a plot point in the future? And if that happens she could quite easily come back into the show. either as a flashback or with the Doctor and/or Amy travelling back into different parts of her life. Or the life she didn't have but then did have and now didn't have again. Okay, I'm confusing myself now.

I'd be more than happy to see her return. And I'm sure any one of Dame Rogers examples would be sufficient reason to do so

As I said to the doc on twitter: I loved Amelia, she was brilliant. But I don't want to see her again. She was part of Amy's series 5 story, and I'd prefer to move on rather than keep looking back to her childhood. But I would like to see Amelia when Amy eventually leaves, death or no. It would be a lovely way to finish her story and go full circle, with the Doctor returning to her young self briefly. Doctor Who aside though, Caitlin Blackwood needs more acting roles stat!

I think there is always stories to tell, and if they can make a good one, then I would like to see it. It doesnt have to move the Amy plot along, it can be one of the filler episodes, but I really took to her character and would like to see more.

Amelia is just adorable! From the moment she told God that she would Be Right Back, she had me wrapped around her little finger!

Even before that - she was praying to Santa. At Easter!

I think her story is probably done to be honest. I did really like the character, but other than fan benefit, what could having her back really do for the show now?

Aw I really like little Amelia. I think she should definately come back. Perhaps even get a trip in the Tardis or something. Lots of people say her story is done, but that doesnt happen in real life. If the writers are any good at what they do they will find a good way of incorporating her if thats what they want to do
