Not keen on this idea. I like the feeling of it being a show with nearly 50 years of history behind it, and the sense of continuity that it gives. If that were ever to change it wouldn't be Doctor Who, the show that I've loved since I was little more than a toddler, any more. It'd just be some new show loosely based on it. For me at least, it'd spoil the whole thing.
