I thought I would hate it but I just ended up feeling sorry for River. I'm a sucker for romance and now I just want her to get her man. Im too fickle and romantic for my own good

I agree. I just felt really bad for her. I think this will make the Doctor see her in a different light though and possibly start to fall for her

Oh, I'm just glad we have seen it, though poor River!  Just wanted to hug her! I thought it would always go that way, though it is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo strange  |

I'm an old romantic myself P-P nothing wrong with that  And wasn't it beautifully acted by everyone. (Possibly because i've had that experience myself lol) I felt genuinely sorry for River. The look in her eyes at the end... gorgeous acting |

I'm an old romantic myself P-P nothing wrong with that And wasn't it beautifully acted by everyone. (Possibly because i've had that experience myself lol) I felt genuinely sorry for River. The look in her eyes at the end... gorgeous acting I agree. Alex Kingston did herself proud with that one. It broke my heart. At least she will have forgotten by the next time we see her |

Oh yea, I think everybody knew by now that there was a romantic link between her and the Doctor. That said though, everyone keeps saying about her being his wife. She could be the 'other' woman? You dont have to be married to a woman to neck her up against a wall

I loved it, as tragic as River's face was afterwards. Didn't go exactly how I thought, but it was brilliant nontheless! I'm still reeling from the fact that he asked her to go with them before it happened. I also take comfort in the fact that River only thinks this is her last kiss, just as she only thinks they are going in reverse order. The latter makes no logical sense, it's only an overall trend, and I'm sure that when he takes her to the Singing Towers, he'll make sure to kiss her then too, so I don't for a second think this will be her last kiss with him. (And I'm beyond thrilled to know that this is the first of many kisses he will have with her.  ) |

His future self will visit her before she heads off to the Library. He gives her a sonic screwdriver and it sure sounded like a heck of a date. I'd bet there was snogging. How do I go about getting a snog like that of Alex? She's a lucky gal getting to snog Matt Smith! I haven't seen the Confidential yet, I hope they dedicate as much time with this kiss as they did the one with Karen Gillan last year. I loved it, as tragic as River's face was afterwards.
