I called my mum and she just went on about how handsome Hugh looked with a beard. I think that won her over

My mates been texting me about it and she thought it was great fun. She tried watching the last two eps but said she felt it was a bit too self referential and couldnt keep up with the bits that had come before that she hadnt seen, but prefered this because it was a stand alone story, easy to follow and a better episode for new people to jump on with.

I've spoken to a couple of mates and it seems to have gotten a mixed to positive response. A few of them were a bit 'meh' about it and the rest loved it. None of them hated it though which is a good sign I guess

Once again my husband attempted to watch with me.  When it first started he was excited about the pirates and said 'you didn't tell me this was a pirate episode!'. But that still didn't stop him from falling asleep before it was over *sigh*

My friend said & I quote from Twitter "Okay, so tonight's episode was flawed and not as good as the two preceding it, but was still enjoyable. Bring on the next one" - when I spoke to him the one thing he really singled out that bugged him was Rory 'dying' again.
