Without a doubt she has had a complete turnaround from last year and she is growing on me so much. She seems like a more well rounded and believable character now and I think Karen has been playing her brilliantly so far this series, especially in the big emotional scenes

He is also vain, ego-centric and quite mad

Got to agree 100%. For most of season 5 I was a fierce critic of hers. She was jarring and self obsessed and just a pain. This season she has been exceptional. I loved her in this. She is really really developing as a wonderful counterpart to Matt Smith's Doctor.

I have to agree. She has been superb so far and a joy to watch. Thankfully its undoing a lot of the bad work from last year. Finally it seems that the writers know what to do with her and how to write her

She did seem to be quite good with the sword, like she had done it loads of times before

I too loved her from the start, but it's nice to see her become slightly more reserved, I think it's great to show that emotional insecure side too this year, because last year it seemed like Amy was completely fearless, but this series they've definitly showing that the companions have feelings which I don't think they've really done since its comeback in 2005, something which is definitely helped with them having a married couple in the TARDIS.

I have to agree, Karen has really stepped up her game this year. I don't know if it was her own choice or if she read the fan stuff or if it was just a natural progression, but she is doing a fine job

Fully agreeing with Chris & Double P on this - I wasn't a fan of her in s5 at all (apart from the something borrowed... bit),
but thus far she's been great in s6.

Keep it up, Pond!

It's good to see more people coming around to the character and appreciating her more. I've always loved Amy and thought she was great so its good to see her popularity going up. KG has been totally brilliant this year
