I really felt like Matt was at his finest throughout this episode. He continues to grow into the role with every performance but everything in this episode, from facial expressions down to hand movements and line delivery was absolutely pitch perfect. Matt Smith is total gold and his casting a brilliant coup for the show, even if it didnt seem so at first

He is also vain, ego-centric and quite mad

Got to agree Saber! It is such a joy to watch an actor grow and blossom into something special and we are seeing something very special! The light and shade, the throw away lines, the gawky physical mannerisms, everything he does is pitch perfect. I am finding myself watching Matt's performance ever more closely, looking for different shades and he never disappoints. I think he is a truly amazing Doctor

He really is. He has proved himself time and again in role and this episode is just another example of how brilliant his performances are

I have loved him from the getgo and he has just gotten better and better. The more I see him in the show, the more I want him to stick around for a very long time

He was amazing again! Love Matt as the Doctor, he always seems to give a slightly haunting performance!

Not wanting to (literally) rock the boat, but I felt as though he was on autopilot for this one. That's not a bad thing, as he was still good, just felt something was a bit off with this episode.

Still better than Five!! JK, I love Five. Don't shoot me I think Matt did another great job here despite being faced with a couple of dodgy scenes. He wasn't at his complete best but he was still very awesome

He really is just brilliant. Regardless of the story or the guest stars or anything else, Matt is always consistently brilliant.

I love his performance no matter how bad the episode. He's just an amazing actor. But I don't know if I could ever sit through this one again.
