Well I rewatched and I know what guy everyone is on about, but I think it was just an error with the editing because he definately comes back at the end on the spaceship

Yea I think you are right. The episode was very choppy and I think his departure from that room was probably left on the cutting room floor

Its probably a point for a thread of its own, but the general editing of this episode was pretty shoddy. It was a good episode but it was like they had a newb in charge of putting the final cut together

There is a scene when they see the blue light flash behind the door. Is that not the Siren taking the pirate?

Yea, after the Doctor and Avery come out of the TARDIS and head back. Well if thats a different pirate then I have no idea what happened to the missing one

The one Toby wounded with the cutlass.  When the other one did a runner from the magazine (the one the Siren got) he was last seen piling up the boxes again to keep her out.  If the Siren came and got him, why didn't she get Rory and Toby too?
