Was anyone else expecting just a little bit more from the character. I thought she would get at least one line and she seemed, as beautiful as she was, to just be a bit squashed in. I think she would have been far scarier if she had made some sort of noise or had more interaction with the sets. She just seemed to be photoshopped into each shot. On the plus side, Lily Cole did a great job with the facial expressions

I did expect her to be more of a character, but I was happy with what we got. I think if she had been able to speak then the whole episode would have been pointless because she could just have explained herself from the off

He is also vain, ego-centric and quite mad

Oi! You're talking about the object of my desire there.....
Unfortunately I can kinda see your point - it was a bit one dimensional and didn't give the Luscious Lily much of a chance to show her range

I agree that she didnt look as though she was actually in the scenes. I think they were going for an ethereal look but at times it just looked like bad greenscreen

I didnt mind it. I was worried that if she opened her mouth the scene would fall apart. I don't really trust model/actors but for what she had to do, Lily Cole did a great job.

Oh my god Karen, you can't just ask someone why they're white!

I don't think she should have spoken as the siren, but it might have been good if she'd been slightly different in her own environment. Speaking of which - a ship's sick-bay run by a holographic doctor? Why has no-one ever thought of that before?

Oh right. I don't think I ever saw anything other than a few eps of the original series and the newest film.

Yea I thought the same. For what she did, she did well, but I was worried that if she had had more to do it wouldnt quite have worked. She may be a brilliant actress but all I know her as is a model so I wasn't holding my breath for greatness.
