I don't know if you can just go out and buy this badboy, but I had to show it off. Its an actual sponge cake and I WANT IT BAD!!!

And then there is this...

There are loads more HERE

There are several different cakes and jelly sweets and things like that that you can buy in supermarkets, so I will add them to this thread as I come accross them, as should you if you see any Smiley

M&S are to start doing a new paradigm Dalek celebration cake. I know it will probably be pricey but I absolutely love M&S cakes so it had better still be around for my birthday (why is it so far away?!  Sad )

I think M&S are quite good with the no nuts thing on their cakes, but I'd check to be sure. I'm kind of expecting it to be a vanilla sponge with jam & buttercream as most of their other celebration cakes are.

And now I'm craving M&S cake!  Tongue

yeah, most people are good with labelling stuff, but it annoys me when people say it contains nuts when it blatantly doesn't! Ah I'm just awkward, gets everyone paranoid when I say I'm allergic to nuts! Tongue

Good job there's not a M&S near here then or I'd be going straight there!  Tongue

Must...stop...talking...about...cake.
I love Buttercream/jam/icing cakes! I remember, for my 13th, I got this huge cake with about 2inches of buttercream inside it and icing about 1inch thick. Omm nomm!

I've never had an M&S cake either but I've certainly had freshly made Celebration cakes.
The closest M&S to Strathclyde is Glasgow which is about 1 hour's bus journey.
