I think he could have been a revelation as The Doctor.
Obvious connection aside, we're mostly used to Sean Pertwee as a hard man.
I think he'd surprise a lot of folk.
I read rumours that he had to turn down 11 due to work conflicts/commitments.
Might be rubbish though.
There was a lot of talk about Sean being up for the part after DT announced he was leaving. Right up until the night Matt was announced I was led to believe he WAS 11
Talk about being disappointed
Still..... I love Matts doc...so all turned out well for me in the end.
I think he's been considered for The Master as well
